Stadshallen in Lund – the venue for our conference

When we were going to select a place for our conference, URBAN GROWTH – Perennial Plantings Beyond Nature, we set up several criteria. First of all, we wanted it to be located in a nice city, worth a visit on its own and not too far from where we live. Easy access by flight, train and bus we thought as a necessity as well. And of course enough hotel rooms. Apart from that, we looked for a place big enough to accomodate a few hundred people. A place where we could have ”fika” and lunch without having to go far. And a place with enough space to meet each other and mingle. Stadshallen in Lund met all of these criteria.

The famous Swedish architect, Klas Anshelm, is the architect behind Stadshallen. Built in 1968 and situated in the city centre of Lund. Stadshallen is a truly beautiful building. The concert hall is where the talks will be. And you will be served lunch and ”fika” in the spacious hall upstairs.

The conference takes place September 8-10, 2017. Haven’t you already signed up? It’s still possible, at klintaconference.se

You are most welcome. /Julia & Peter
